Fashion & Style Tips for Women

I remember reading fashion tips for women when I was a teenage girl, about how you should cultivate a sense of style, your own designer brand, with which people would identify you.

The fashion magazine articles, they were all mostly the same, went on to write for their young fashion readers that the boys they were interested in would see their fashion style and categorize them as a certain type of girl. And then choose the girl accordingly because the emphasis was on boys choosing girls they wanted to date and girls transforming themselves and their fashion style into whatever would attract the type of boy they wanted to date. (Yes, some authors actually write that!) 

Fashion Colors, Prints, and Styles

If the girl dresses with bold fashion colors the boy considers her to be a dynamic, strong individual. Conversely, and oddly enough, feminine fashion clothing means that the girl is more demure and soft spoken. 

 

 

These fashion tips for women and girls who are just looking for a little fashion advice and direction on style always seemed a little bit weird. If I dressed very feminine would that mean that people would think I was a pushover? Hmmm... I could see how that might not be the best possible thing since we live in a world where it's pretty important to be able to stand up for yourself. But would people make that assumption based on fashion and style? It was hard to tell as a teenager. 

 

 

Being Strong Enough to Be a Woman Who Can Wear Truly Feminine Styles and Still Be Modern

There seemed to be this "anti feminine clothing" sentiment going around until very recently. I don't mean people don't like women. And I know people like style. But what style? It seems like our feminity was being robbed from women. Almost like women could not have this beautiful thing which was being feminine and be empowered at the same time. If we as women couldn't have it who could enjoy feminine fashion style and the beauty that comes along with it? Who? It seems that feminine style can be a perfect choice for us and I for one am buying that style for myself and my loyal customers so that we can enjoy feminine fashion!

Modern Fashion Styles Post '80s Shoulder Pads 

We can look like women. We don't have to wear big shoulder pad styles like you see in pictures from the 80's to prove that we are powerful. We don't have to cut our hair off in a short style if we don't want to and we don't have to act like men.

We don't have to make our voices seem deeper, as some people still advise me to do because they think having a pretty feminine voice isn't going to go far in the competitive working world!
